Tutor:                 Christine Yarker

Title:        Pattern drafting for Fabric Hats

                                     (Master class)

Duration:                3 - 5 days

Summary:

In this workshop participants are shown how to actually create patterns, opening a new world of hat possibilities for the sewing enthusiast wanting to turn their talents towards millinery without the messy process of steaming and blocking. Pattern drafting will be the main focus of this workshop with participants encouraged to be more creative and experimental with shapes, materials and themes to create individual hats for any head size (from doll size to adults).

Participants:

A more advanced level of millinery experience, such as that gained from the “Fabulous Fabric Hats” workshop, is needed for this class, however all levels of competency are encouraged to apply. Basic machine sewing skills needed.
