Workshop Title: Gorgeous Trimmings
Duration of Workshop: 1 - 2 days
Workshop summary
This workshop is entirely devoted to trimmings and the wonderful effects that can be achieved using ribbons, fabrics, feathers, veiling and more. From silk and ribbon roses and bows to curling and cutting feathers into shape, participants will be encouraged to experiment with combinations and start to build their own library of ideas that can be used as a resource for future projects.
Although all these techniques are suitable for hats, bags and clothing, some trimmings can become so spectacular that they can be put onto a simple comb or hair clip and worn as a hair accessory.
Participants
Suitable for Secondary school students and adults.
All levels of experience welcome in this class, however basic sewing skills needed.
